Barry Berkman, a sad low-level hitman, is looking for a way out after becoming disillusioned by the prospect of killing another “target.”
When the Midwesterner grudgingly flies to Los Angeles to carry out a hit on an actor who is sleeping with a mobster’s wife, he has no idea that the City of Angels will become his haven.
He follows his objective into acting class and is immediately captivated by the community of eager aspirants, particularly dedicated student Sally, whom he falls in love with. Barry wants to start a new life as an actor, but his manager, Fuches, has other plans, and the hit man’s criminal past will not let him go easy. So, this is quite an interesting story of a criminal genre with the taste of comedy that has always impressed its fans.
