Other than DC and Marvel comics, if there is any other popular brand in the field of the comic world, then it is Manga. The characters belonging to these comics are not far behind the characters like Batman and Spiderman from (DC and Marvel). There have been animated shows adapted from the original comics. One such name is Kakegurui.
This character is popular in the form of animated and television shows on MBS and TBS channels three years ago as the live-action drama from January. Today, it has gained more popularity among its viewers in the UK, Philippines, Japan, and the US, ever since it started streaming on the Netflix network.
All kudos to its director Toru under whose direction this show became worth watching. The announcement of Kakegurui season 1 took place four years ago on 21st November. It followed the original story of Manga comics.
Season 2 of Kakegurui started on two networks (MBS & TBS) from the first of April, two years ago. A film based on the latter Japanese character also came in last year during May. The writing and illustration of this Korean action drama are credited to Homura and Toru, its writer and illustrator.
After the end of the first two seasons, now all eyes are on the expectation of Kakegurui’s third season. So let us find out whether it is going to take place sooner or later.

Story Plot
Kakegurui has an interesting story plot that grabs the viewer’s interest. This Japanese drama revolves around a school academy where children from affluent families come and pursue education. Their parents have rich political and business backgrounds. The education institute however believes in following a hierarchical structure.
It creates a division among the students into sections, all depending upon their performance not in academics or games, but for games in gambling. The management of school dances to the tunes of those who contribute a loathsome monetary amount. And thus, the whole system is backed by the system of gambling, where students are forced or prompted to bet on their fortunes via gambling.
Those belonging to the winning group become the rulers, whereas the losing side is forced to become their slaves. In that way, the affluent rulers gain more importance and get more connections adding to their elite status.
Contrary to it, the losers have to adhere to their orders as pets, and dance to their tunes. If in case, anyone fails to clear his debts during his/her year of graduation, then that person has to spend his complete future paying off those debts.
Unexpected Entry
Continuing the story plot, a day comes with a surprise entry, a girl called Jabami Yumeko. The mysterious girls get into the school academy. Even though she seems to be sober and pretty from the outer look, in reality, she has a gambling addiction. Jabami never steps back in taking risks.
Where gambling is mostly played for financial and social advantages, she is vice versa in this regard and does not follow the usual gambling strategy. Jabami is smart enough to know the rules of the game and detailing.
She is intelligent enough to spot the scams in gambling. With her recent presentation, the hierarchy of the school academy gets disturbed. And then begins the plot to put her down.
Similarity With Anime Action Show
If you have Netflix downloaded on your mobile and have watched the anime version of Kakegurui on the go, then you will find the similarity with the TV version. There is nothing in the show that seems out of the context from the Manga comics origin of a similar title, except for some minor changes. The events shown in the television series along with action scenes are capable of gripping the attention of the viewers.
The acting prowess of the actors in the show is also good. Although there is some overdose of acting, that does not have any adverse effect on the show or making it dull. Rather, this Japanese action drama will keep you engaged to your television screen, and won’t let you get oozed off in between. The main character, a gambling champ girl, Yumeko, will also steal your attention with her good looks and gambling tricks.

Release Of Kakegurui Season 3; When It Is Going To Happen?
After watching the season 1 and 2 of Kakegurui, fans cannot just wait longer to expect the season 3 of the latter live-action drama to hit the screens soon. However, it is not possible as it was about to be released in the previous year, but due to a global pandemic outbreak, the production has gone through multiple delays.
Till yet, no no final declaration of Kakegurui third season has come from its makers. It might get released in 2021 coming months. Till then you can enjoy reading the Manga comics or can even watch the movie based on it.
