Matt Paige Damon was the child of Kent Telfer Damon and Nancy Carlsson Paige. He was born on 8th October 1970. Kent was a stockbroker while Nancy was a professor at Lesley University teaching early childhood education. Damon’s dad was had English and Scottish roots, while the mom was a Finnish and Swedish origin.
His dad died in 2017 while the mom is still there. When Damon was two years, Kent and Nancy divorced, and he and his brother ‘Kyle’ went back with their mom to Cambridge. He revealed that he had a tough time growing as the mom was so strict during an interview.
