Solo leveling is a South Korean-based TV and web series with an intense fan base. It was famous as a web novel written by Chu-Gong, printed by papyrus tag then reported by the D and C media. Its story genre is fantasy and action with an English licensed name “I Level Up.”

Solo leveling is most likely the most popular manga out there. You can’t be a real manga fan if you haven’t heard of this series. Its scale of fights is top-notch to the extent fans are crazy about it and recommend it to those who are yet to watch it. 

Even as the audience eagerly awaits season two of Solo Leveling, its popularity is rising exponentially. Season one ended after airing 110 episodes, leaving fans so excited for season 2.

As you may know, Solo leveling season one ended on 19th March 2020. The final episode left fans in suspense, and they were curious to see when the second season would be released. Luckily, the show producers didn’t keep their viewers waiting for long. 

Solo leveling season two resumed on the midnight of 1st August 2020 on the Kakao page, and within a few days, translations were available online. By 7th August, episode 113 had already been released. So far, the attacks have aired up to chapter 133. Season 2 Episode 134 will air on 7th January 2021. If you plan to watch it on Netflix, you will have to wait longer. While Netflix may have renewed the Solo Leveling show and even confirmed that it would premier in 2021, they are yet to announce the actual release date and any further information.

Season 2 Solo Leveling Cast

Nothing much changes from season 1; Sung Jin-Woo is still the main cast of Solo leveling season 2. The famous female hunter, Cha Hae-in, and Sung’s assistant Yoo also feature this season. However, as the series continues, there could be cast changes depending on the plot.

Solo Leveling Season 2 Storyline

The world is full of creatures and monsters. A portal that connects to the human world appears and gives the monster access to the human world. The beast turns into a threat by attacking humans. Hence, humans have to protect themselves. Some humans (hunters) ranked according to their power have the strength and ability to hunt the monsters. 

The leading character, Sung-Jin-Woo, is among the hunters but has the weakest rankings. He is considered the most insignificant of all the hunters. One day all hunters, including Jin-Woo and his friends, get confined in a dangerous dungeon; for them to become contestants, they have to complete the hunting task given, store, rank, inventory, figures and escape the place. 

Sung is the only one who survives and completes all the tests given in the challenge. In the end, he becomes the highest-ranked player.

Is there a trailer for Season 2?

No. Officials are yet to release a trailer for Solo Leveling season 2. Once officials confirm the project, then we will get to see the trailer. However, there’s a five-and-a-half-second clip on YouTube posted on July 2020 with 18 million views. This shows how fans have been eagerly waiting for this season, and it seems the adaptation will blow up significantly.

Solo Leveling Season 2 Chapter 134

The intense interaction between Jin Woo and his family before leaving for Japan touched the audience’s hearts. It proved that Jin Woo still maintained human emotions despite all those aggressive fights. This chapter will feature Jin Woo confronting the monsters, and eventually, even the most gigantic monster guarding the gate might have to encounter Jin Woo.

Season 2 Review

Solo Leveling consists of fantasy and action elements in it. It is visually captivating with fighting scenes that are so interesting to watch and almost similar to anime. The series has surpassed the expected number of 4 million readers and viewers across the world.

It was the first South Korean webtoon to become famous since most web novels are associated with Japan. It also topped Japan’s webtoon list in 2019. Fans translated this series into their different languages, and it caught the attention of many viewers.
