She was a homemaker and Horace Logan White served as an executive in the electrical industry. If you have a look into their family tree, the name of Tess’s father was Nicholas Cachikis. He originally was a native to Greece and Tess’s mother, Margaret Curtis Hobbs Cachikis originally belonged to England. Thomas was Tess’s brother who was also born in Illinois in the year 1907.

Tess Curtis White’s daughter, Betty White was born on the 17th of January in the year 1922 in Oak Park, Illinois. Tess was ten years old when she used to live with her brother Thomas and her parents. Tess’s father was in the ice cream industry and he worked there as a wagon driver.

As per the marriage records of Cook County, Illinois, Horace White and Tess Curtis White got married to each other on 17th of February in the year 1921. They used to live in the Oak Park, Illinois where Betty was born. Later, in 1925 the family moved to Pasadena, and they were listed to be living in California as residents.
