Rise to success
Victor James Santiago experienced success when got paired with hip hop duo Capone-N-Noreaga (C-N-N) with Capone, a fellow rapper from Queens. The rapper earned success with singles like Nothin, Superthug, Oye Mi Canto, and Banned from T.V. Penalty, Def Jam, Roc-La-Familia, and Babygrande Records are some of the examples of record labels, under which he released music.
Eleven years ago in June, he even became a partner with Busta Rhymes, a well-known rapper from America with a Conglomerate label, under which he released an album named Student of the Game. It came in 2013 and was issued under E1 Music. Victor Santiago is also the CEO of Militainment Business, his own label imprint.
Then in 1999, came Melvin Flynt – Da Hustler, his second solo album. It became a moderate success, coming in the top 10 Billboard 200 chart. Noreaga did not stop making a solo musical career of his own. For that, he even changed his name to N.O.R.E. And then came God’s Favorite, his third solo album, that finally came in 2002 after some delays. It topped the Billboard 200 chart at #3 and was certified platinum.
The album had a popular hit song Nothin, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 list. It is known to be the highest charting hit.
